I’d like to request your approval to join the Fort Worth Association for Financial Professionals (FWAFP) as a <insert year> member. The FWAFAP is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Treasury Management profession in the Fort Worth area.  FWAFP membership is available to individual practitioners, banking professionals, and service providers involved in Treasury/Cash Management.

The Association's membership, about 50, includes Treasury professionals from many industries, such as energy, health care, utilities, retail, manufacturing, banking, and government. Membership will give me the ability to connect with these members from the Fort Worth area.

I will also gain unique perspectives from Treasury professionals and industry leaders who speak at the nine meetings the FWAFP holds each year (admission is free to FWAFP members). A selection of various meeting guest speakers provides a full range of Treasury topics including government regulations, developments in banking products/services, cash collection and disbursement methods, fraud issues, investment strategies, foreign exchange, and risk management.

In addition to expanding my professional network and keeping up to date with current industry issues and trends, this group also offers leadership opportunities and the ability to participate in social events such as an annual summer social and holiday party.

It’s more important than ever to ensure we’re getting the most out of our education and training investment and FWAFP membership will help us do just that. I’ll have direct access to the FWAFP leadership members, the chance to network and share ideas with other Treasury professionals, and an opportunity to gain CTP Continuing Education Credits at luncheon meetings.

The total cost of membership is only $275 for the year. The next luncheon meeting I can attend is <insert date here>, therefore I appreciate your immediate response to my request.
