Join us at our next monthly luncheon on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at City Club Fort Worth. Our speaker this month will be Russ Murrell Executive Director, Chief Information Security Officer Texas Capital. He will be speaking on Evolution of Cyber Security.
Russ Murrell is Executive Director, Chief Information Security Officer at Texas Capital. In his role, he sets the strategy for managing cyber risk and leads the operations that protect against and respond to cyber incidents. Russ joined Texas Capital in November 2021 as Deputy CISO and Executive Director of Cyber Security Architecture. He brings more than 24 years of information security and technology experience to his role. Previously, Russ served for five years at Goldman Sachs, where he built and led the global cyber defense and intelligence teams. He is also a former U.S. Army officer. Russ earned a Bachelor of Science in biology at Texas State University – San Marcos. He volunteers with Boy Scouts of America and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
