Join us at our next monthly luncheon on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at City Club Fort Worth. Our speaker this month will be David Bentz, President of D Bentz and Associates, Security/Cybersecurity Consultants. He will be speaking on AI Impact on US Security & Infrastructure.

David is currently a security/cybersecurity consultant. He serves as a trusted advisor to companies regarding a wide variety of security concerns and is frequently engaged as a public speaker. His presentations focus on bringing cybersecurity to the forefront of companies and the public at-large.

David was the founding supervisor of the U.S. Secret Service computer crimes task force in Dallas. His time spent with the Agency afforded him assignments in Dallas, SS Headquarters in Washington, DC, and the Baltimore Field Office. Among many protective assignments - to include the George W. Bush Detail in the 90’s - his career highlights include liaison Agent to the Treasury Executive Office for Asset Forfeiture and building the Dallas computer crimes task force to over 400 members prior to his retirement from the Agency in 2012.

Following his career at the Secret Service, David was recruited to become the Director of Technology at a privately held security company in Fort Worth, TX. He spent 10 years leading technical teams and providing a wide breadth of security value to hundreds of company sites, employees, Flight Base of Operations, and private residences.

Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, David joined the Marine Corps and spent nine years as a CH-53 helicopter Crew Chief. Assigned to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, he spent over 14 months on aircraft carriers touring the Western Pacific, Orient, and Indian Oceans.

Between time spent in the Marine Corps and Secret Service, David has visited many Countries and Continents and has a strong macro-view of world affairs and security.
